Kognitive Neurologie, NeuroImaging & Brain StimulationThe Berlin NeuroImaging Center (BNIC) focuses of clinical and experimental neuroimaging research. The Center is a joint initiative by the Charité University Medicine Berlin, the Humboldt and the Free University, the Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), and the Max Planck Institut für Bildungsforschung (MPIB). – Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience In particular the following research groups represent the field at the department of Neurology Vision & Motor Group Kognition, Altern und Neurorehabilitation Motorik und Kognition Kognitive Neurophysiologie Spatial Cognition Synchrony an Oscillations Neuroimaging and Neurocomputation The centers scientific alumni have developed very bucketful careers: – Prof. Arno Villringer was head of the BNIC. Since 2007 he is chair of the Max-Planck-Institute für Kognitions- und Neurowissenschaften in Leipzig – Prof. Hauke Heekeren was a Post-Doc at the BNIC and is now the deputy coordinator of the Excellence-Cluster Languages of Emotion. – Prof. Wartenburger was a Post-Doc at the BNIC and is now holding the position of junior professorship at the University of Potsdam. |
